Our story

Our story began in 1957 in the port city of Haiphong, Vietnam, with the establishment of Ha Long Canned Fish Factory, the predecessor of Ha Long Canned Food Joint Stock Corporation (Halong Canfoco). As one of Vietnam's pioneers in the food and seafood processing industry, Halong Canfoco was founded with a mission to enhance the value of Vietnamese seafood and connect local fishermen's catches with domestic and international markets.

Building on decades of industry experience and a strong reputation, 2001 marked an important milestone in the company's development. As Halong Canfoco transitioned into a joint stock company, it established a subsidiary in Da Nang, specializing in the production and processing of a wide range of seafood products. Located in one of Vietnam's major coastal cities, the Da Nang operation was established to expand production capabilities, strengthen supply chain connections, and leverage access to seafood resources and key markets.

With a heritage spanning nearly 70 years, we continue to uphold Halong Canfoco's longstanding commitment to product quality, continuous improvement, and food safety. Our extensive knowledge of the seafood industry, combined with years of processing experience and established supply chain relationships, enables us to develop and deliver quality seafood products that meet the diverse needs of customers in both domestic and international markets.

Today, as part of the Halong Canfoco family, our Da Nang subsidiary continues to build upon the values established in 1957 while embracing innovation and sustainable development. We believe that consistent product quality, dedication throughout every stage of production, and long-term partnerships are the foundations of our continued growth.
